Team Foundation Server for Microsoft Partners

I know I am probably really late to the game in commenting on this.

For example, a google search reveals that these blogs (just a sampling) have beating this to death: [1] [2] [3]

(Google: Results 11 – 20 of about 44,500 for team foundation server pricing sucks. wow)

Anyhoo, I am more concerned about what Microsoft is going to do for Certified or Gold Partners. Yes, everyone knows that small shops probably don’t buy enough MSDN Subscriptions for the number of developers they have. But Microsoft Partners pay for the partner program, dedicate their firm to Microsoft in many ways, and act as sales agents in a very real and quantifiable way for “the Firm.”

So please Mr. Softee, don’t screw us partners. We want to use your tools but we can’t justify paying $10k plus for them.
