Installing Ubuntu on VMware Player

I had to dig the depths of the internet to find this great tutorial:

Now I will blog about my Ubuntu experience once I can get it installed on VMware. I was able to install it straight-up on my old Thinkpad A20p, but I realized that I didn’t want to carry around a 20 pound laptop just to play around with Ruby and postgreSQL.
